I heard late that SM was releasing a new girl group called Aespa, so thankfully I didn't have an agonizingly long wait for their debut! 😆
When they finally dropped their mv, my sister and I watched it together and we both LOVED it! They instantly became our new favorite girl group!!!

The epic song, ALL OF IT!!!! They are the girl group I've been waiting for since my OGs Girl's Generation and 2NE1 retired! I feel sad that it took so long for us to get a girl group like Aespa, but I'm so glad they're finally here! 😃🎉💖

Aespa Black Mamba MV-CLICK HERE!
The new song is called Black Mamba, and to be honest I'm not entirely sure what it's about 😅 aside from making reference to some communication here and there with their Avatar counterparts. The video features a huge, black snake (so Chamber of Secrets reminiscent!) that I'm guessing is supposed to be symbolic of some dark force against them & their Avatars, judging from certain parts of the song. I think SM will reveal more of the story to us later. Hopefully in the next mv!
The set of the mv seems very electronic, but also kind of spacey like they were trying to capture some galaxy aspects. There are so many glowing plants and sparkling butterflies-its gorgeous! 😍😍😍
The video has a great range of visual variety as well as it goes from light scenes, to "creepy" dark ones a lot, and there are several outfit changes.
The members of Aespa are Karina, Giselle, NingNing and Winter. All of them have clear, strong vocals, awesome dance skills & amazing stage presence! They don't perform like rookies at all. Such is the quality of SM. They don't come to play with their training!
